Annual weekend
The work of the Trust to date has focused on the establishment and development of an annual weekend conference.
Each June, the Trustees host a weekend at Ardtornish House on the Ardtornish Estate, North Argyll - home to the Raven family since 1930. A group of between 30-40 invited guests come together to explore a chosen theme closely related to the broad aims of the Trust. Those who attend come from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds, and bring with them an eclectic mix of interests and experience. They are invited in the expectation that together they will produce an alchemy - a free flow of ideas and new perspectives.
Each conference is fully scribed: reports of all our discussions at previous conferences are available to read or download.
The selected theme for 2012 is Shared Spaces. We invite you to share with us any ideas that you might have as to how this topic could be creatively explored within the context of the broad aims that the Andrew Raven Trust has set for itself. Please send your suggestions to info@andrewraventrust.org.uk .
